- Sub: RE: Sub/Superscr in TTEView
-
- Dear Dave,
-
- I agree with you that standard TTEView (=Apple) should support more stylistic
- variations. But on top of my wish list are multiple justifications in one
- TTEView and to handle tabs. Most of time I am creating business applications
- and therefore sub/superscripts are not really needed.
-
- It doesn´t seem to me that these are easy tasks. You have to create one
- supertext object which deals with multiple TEViews (e.g. one TEView can only
- have one justification) they changes their location and size dynamically during
- typing, cutting, pasting etc. like paragraphs in a word processor. Another big
- problem exists with selecting over multiple paragraphs (= multiple TTEView
- objects). I think MacApp doesn´t support this at the current state (the first
- TTEView gets the control and will release it only if you release the mouse
- button).
-
- If you find a good way to implement sub/superscripts maybe this is also a good
- way to implement other things.
-
- kind regards,
-
